I think that a push should be carried out with no delay. I sell (and buy) domains from time to time. It would put me at a disadvantage if there is a waiting period for buyer. Of course it may be a good idea for Dynadot staff to review these transactions manually.
IMO it's the registrar transfers that should be monitored (and they typically take a few days to complete anyway).
A push is less dangerous than a transfer away. As long as the domain is with Dynadot staff can intervene. Well I guess so o:)
I think five days is reasonable... I occasionally sell a domain I own privately and push it to another account, but I never buy domains just for the purpose of reselling them.
Currently, there is no time limit before you can push a domain. You can register your domain, and you can push it to another account immediately.
We do have plans to add a 5 day waiting period before a domain is pushed however. The reason is that sometimes we get fraudulent orders, and they push the domain before we get a chance to cancel the order. It makes the post fraud cleanup harder.
Is a 5 day waiting period before pushes acceptable to people? Or do you need to be able to push the domain immediately?
