when will my website be displayed?

I ordered and paid for my domain name and web hosting on Sept.28/08. I also bought an email on Oct. 1/08. I have uploaded all my files on Sept.29/08 and it's ready to go. My email is working, but my website is still showing the error page. I understand that it takes a couple of days for it to show. Does anyone know how long it should be and will I be notified that is up and running?

Your website is currently up. However, you do need to upload an "index.html" file to your root directory. Once you do that, the world will be able to see your uploaded content.

Mine was up yesterday, but it is down today. :(

I am not sure what is going on, but it needs to get fixed since I am hosting for a large company.

I hope yours gets going soon too.
